Is there such a thing as hypoallergenic cats ?

Aparently yes.

A California research and development team placed the company Allerca in a special stance to bring out the world's firstly scientifically proven hypoallergenic cats.

The glycoprotein, Fel d 1, released by the fatty glands, is the major cat allergen. This allergen is detected in the fur, spittle, pee, mucose, salivary glands, and hair routs of the cat. The Fel d 1 gene existing in typical cats is responsible for the production of this protein.

Starting with proprietary genetic trying engineerings, This California Company started by centering on the specific gene that farms the Fel d 1 glycoprotein. The procedure utilizes gene sequencing to find rare naturally occurring genetic discrepancies in cats. 

Then pointing those divergencies that could potentially produce kittens with a shift in the structure of the Fel d 1 allergen produced by the gene. Using sophisticated software to wield cat procreation programs, the final stage leaved behind in cats with a distinct gene that  produces a variant version of the Fel D 1 protein that the human body does not acknowledge as an allergen - and you have an hypoallergenic cats that no longer sparks the autoimmune system of people allergic to cats.

So if you love cats but suffer cat allergy you can get one of this new hypoallergenic cats if you have several thousand dolars extra to buy your pet, because the cheaper ones are on the 2,ooo dolar range and they can go up to more than 10,000 for the new breeds.

So not so good news for us regular people, maybe in a feew years hypoallergenic cats will be accesible to everyone.
